The room had plenty of towels and the pool area and seating outside was extremely quiet for as many people were in the area. Grilled chicken kabob marinated in sweet & spicy Jamaican jerk. Served with tropical fruit salsa, black beans and rice. The next venture was the Old Dutch Tavern, fashioned after a dutch windmill. (A picture of the Tavern can be seen inside the Captains room bar). The Tavern was located just west of the Conch House on Anastasia boulevard, just before the bridge of lions.

The Conch House Marina Resort is owned by the Ponce family — one of the oldest families in the United States. The resort is on Anastasia Island and features a Caribbean-style restaurant and lounge with waterside dining. Each unit in this 1940s motel comes with Wi-Fi, a fridge, access to the swimming pool, free parking, and digital cable. However, most of our rooms are located on the ground floor or can be accessed with only a few steps.

Strobe light fire alarms are available upon request at check-in. The location at the marina, with the restaurant and bar that are adjacent to the property were fantastic. The room had plenty of towels and the pool area and seating outside was extremely quiet for as many people were in the area. We took a short Uber drive into downtown to enjoy the night life and it was quick and easy.
